Easiest New Year’s Noisemakers

Hi, everyone! When the time comes to ring in the new year, the goal is to make as much noise as possible!

If you want to get the kids involved, why not do it even more so with these 7 Easy New Year’s Noisemakers for Kids To Make?

Not only will they be able to make noise without getting in trouble, but they’ll also have a serious sense of pride since they made the noisemakers themselves!

There’s bound to be a DIY New Year’s noisemaker craft here for everyone to help each little one find their creative spirit for the turn of the year.

There’s lots of variety waiting for you in these fun little creative projects.

The first one uses paper cups.

Your little one can decorate them however you want and then fill them with anything from pebbles to dried rice for their noise-making capabilities.

These are simple, fun, and also easy for little ones to hold and shake to their heart’s content!

Another simple option is two waxed paper plates that use whatever you want on the inside to make their noise.

After you glue the plates together, allow your young creative spirit to decorate the plates with glitter, paint, stickers, or anything they want.

There is a similar option to this that puts the plates on a stick to look like a giant lollipop.

This can be fun for little ones that really want to shake their noisemakers.

For some characters, you can create a plate pattern but add some googly eyes, a beak, and some feathers — now it’s a chick! These are cute and fun for those animal lovers in your life.

For something totally different, combine a plastic egg filled with your noisemaker options with a bit of tape and two spoons!

These are great if you want to make something totally different and still give lots of room for customization.

To keep it simple but sparkly, there is a fun popsicle stick option where you cover it in garland, jingle bells, and curls of ribbon to make something glitzy and glamorous.

Allow your child to customize it in color, look, and feel!

Lastly is the hand-shaped noisemaker, which is going to be great for drawing the shape and size of your young one’s hand.

It’s going to be ideal for decorating, too, since it’s so special and unique to just them!
